SETGA’s patented Argon Pressurised System (APS)® technology features an IP68 level of sealing. The optoelectronic module of our LED luminaires is pressurised in an inert argon gas atmosphere, preventing the entry of humid air from outside. This prevents the destructive effects of humidity, salinity and other agents on LED semiconductors.

Studies by Samsung Electronics and the Harbin Institute of Technology have demonstrated premature flux degradation and variations in colour temperature and CRI due to external agents. These findings support SETGA’s research, which began more than 15 years ago. APS® technology is especially valued in countries with high humidity, such as the Netherlands, for its positive impact on the lifespan and colour stability of luminaires.
